2018-01-25 09:58:28 GENCOMM: ...High Fire Danger Today... High fire danger is expected today across western into central Missouri, and eastern Kansas. Sustained winds of around 20 mph with gusts reaching near 30 mph are expected. Combined with a very dry airmass and dormant grasses, this will result in an elevated fire danger risk across the area. These conditions will be favorable for the rapid spread of any grass fires that ignite. As a result, outdoor burning is highly discouraged today.
